Friday Night Small-Sided Game Program
Fall 2024
The focus for our youngest players will be on building confidence on the ball through fun games to encourage balance, coordination, agility, vision, individual ball handling skills, 1V1 to 3V3 defending/attacking, and of course, having LOTS of fun.
Your player will be part of our Friday Small-sided Game Night Program. Players will be demonstrating what they have learned during the week, showing us their creativity, enthusiasm and enjoying our cheering at the games.

Champions Club/Shape Game (extra time & make-up) Wednesdays 1:45-2:45 pm
PARENTS: Our young players should have a parent at/near the pitch during every practice and at games. We want our young players to feel comfortable and confident and have a parent to attend to them for any personal needs. At games, parents should cheer, but please refrain from directing your player. Soccer is a sport that requires the development of vision, decision-making, and creativity. If you tell your player what to do, you are ultimately limiting their growth potential. If your player is missing an aspect of the game and you want to help, try gently asking them questions that can lead to self-discovery.
Please contact me with any concerns or suggestions at any time during the season! We want this to be the best experience possible for every player. Thank you for signing up for the YCSC 2024 Fall Program, it's going to be a fantastic season!
Welcome, Coach Karen
